CSU Transfers

Hey everyone, I was just curious to how many people on this board are actually trying to transfer from a cal state school. If you are, post your stats and state why you'll get in, or for that matter, why wouldn't you get in. Nervous? I'm so anxious to find out.

CSU Fullerton
3.51
Civil Engineering
UCLA/UCB/UCI/UCSD

i'm not sure if i even have a chance... my gpa is kinda low, i messed up on the application, i just hope my essay is good enough. i thought i wrote a pretty good essay...

i think you'll get in uci

we'll just have to see =</p>

Im kinda in the same boat! I'm a UCSB student, so I think Im at the very bottom of the list for chances of getting in. I think you'll for sure get into UCI and SD and have a really good chance of berkeley and LA, thats a great engineering GPA.

I've got a 3.43, but it seems like all these ccc students are all in the 3.7-9 range.
doesn't it annoy you that you are an ENGINEER at state, yet some students are just breezing by at a CC and have a higher chance of getting in?

sorry if that offended anyone at a CC...

haha yeah. but i think i messed up in my application, where i put psychology for reasining and problem solving as my second english transfer course. I thought that'll work because i looked at a CCC's articulation agreement with ucla, but i didnt consider looking at the agreement with other schools.

3.34 gpa at SDSU
Psychology Major
Applied to UCSC/UCD/UCSB

I got hopes.

UCSCplease- if you have all your prerequisites i would say you are likely to get in at all three! But the big question is why would you ever want to go to UCSC?

My first year I was at SDSU. I had a 3.61, and figured my GPA was good enough to try and get into UCLA for personal and academic reasons. From everything I had read your odds were considerably improved from a ccc, so I went to De Anza/ Foothill the second year. In the end I did a winter quarter transfer, and got into UCLA engineering deparement.

I'm not quite a CSU transfer, but I know the situation you guys are in.

hows ucla engineering?

From: Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
Major: Biomedical Engineering
GPA: 3.67
To: UC Berkeley
Major: Chemical Biology

^ my closest competition and/or friend. :D

You're at Cal Poly, cpengr? I'm at Cuesta.

Yep, Ektaylor, I'm a SLO learner! And—I'm embarassed to say—I've never been to either of the Cuesta campuses. But I'm from the Bay Area and have some high school friends at Cuesta who hope to transfer to Cal Poly's architecture program, so I do know a little about the SLO CC. How is it? Are you a SLO native or an out-of-towner?

And hello, Guyy. Competition? No—competing exhausts me. Friend, though? Definitely!

SDSU
3.95
Economics
UCLA/UCSD/UCR/UCSB

Bruins baby!

To UCLAhopeful5211:

Because UCSC is the ****. I have a bunch of friends that go there and plus I don't think UCD or UCSB will accept me.

Chico State
4.0
Political Science-Legal Studies
UCLA/UCB

Think I got a chance?

^boast post

haha I wish...too bad no college takes Chico seriously

it's all numbers, girl.

what's wrong with chico?
