What schools should I consider applying to? My dream schools are SDSU, Cal Poly SLO, and UCSB but I think they're all a reach. I plan on majoring in either business or communication (UC's dont seem to have an undergraduate business program). My local CSU is Long Beach.

GPA: 3.38/3.28 (I'll explain later)
SAT: 1940 (720 CR, 560 M, 660 W) *I got 580 on an earlier SAT
ACT: 28 Composite (28 E, 24 M, but: 34 Reading)
AP's: US History (5), Language (4), Psychology (3; didn't take the class, only took the exam), Chemistry (n/a), Literature (n/a). *I also took one semester of World History but got a D (retook in summer school, A+)

EC's: work as a lifeguard/swim instructor for the city, coach cheerleading (community service), swim team, water polo team, dance (4 years), tutoring, Key Club (1 year), junior lifeguards, volunteered at a local library, participated in Every 15 Minutes, ran random community service events (carnivals, 5k runs, ect)

I'm well aware that my gpa is AWFUL. I was diagnosed with ADHD right after my sophomore year and began taking medication and it did wonders. I got a 3.9 gpa my junior year (4.0 & 3.87) which is a HUGE upward trend from my sophomore and freshman years. Unfortunately I can only explain this to the UC's and not the Cal States. Any recommendations/any colleges definitely not worth my time? I also plan on applying to Long Beach, Chico, CSUSF, UCSC, UCSD. Most of my classes for all of high school have been honors or AP except for math.
