CSUEB vs. SFSU for computer science?

I’ve been doing some research on both schools but ultimately have only found that both have decent programs. Does anyone know if one school is better than the other in terms of education/internships?

I also noticed that the transfer requirements for CSUEB are very minimal. I used assist to find them. If I have taken a full 90 credits at cc, will those credits still transfer if they do not show up on assist?

CSU-transferable courses will transfer as credit units (up to 70 semester or 105 quarter units from community colleges), but may not necessarily count as subject credit to fulfill specific course requirements if they are not listed as being equivalent to specific courses (or general education areas) at the CSU on ASSIST.

Thank you!

Either school would be fine. I used to work as a programmer in downtown SF, and lots of my co-workers had CS degrees from SF State.

Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anybody I know with a bachelor’s in CS degree from CSUEB. I’ve had a few colleagues who had CS graduate degrees from there. It may just be that most CSUEB grads work in the East Bay or Silicon Valley, rather than in SF.

@simba9 thank you, this is very helpful (:
