I know most people heard back from CSUF already but for those of us who are still stressing can we post when we/if we get accepted on here just to keep track of when they’re sending out more acceptances? I have a 3.1 GPA and I applied as a Communcations major, I’m a local student
@justwanttoask They requested my Spring transcripts so until then I wont know. And my classes end in Spring
@mlusikyan if they requested your spring transcripts doesnt that mean you’re admitted?
@justwanttoask I doubt it. It’s always said “final college transcripts” under my todo list. Since the beginning of my titan online portal.
@mlusikyan are you taking any of the golden four courses right now?
@justwanttoask no. I’m taking Calc 3, Linear Algebra, Physics, and Chem
@mlusikyan thats really strange! I just check the portal and theyre asking for my final transcripts. That doesnt make sense to me though as the transcripts wont be available until after May? Strange, im going to call them tomorrow i will post my findings on here
@mlusikyan i called today and she basically told me that “the final transcript” is on the to do as default for all students. Theyre still looking over applications are going to be sending out more acceptances/denials in the coming weeks, its just taking so long because they are swamped.
@justwanttoask so does that mean we might get an acceptance/denial notification regardless if we send our transcripts beforehand or not?

@mlusikyan yeah since you obviously cant send in the transcripts before your classes are done. The person on the phone wasnt very clear i dont even think she knew what the purpose of it was but she said to make sure to have nothing on your holds list and basically just wait around

Yeah, i was just randomly checking my titanonline and i noticed that there was a “orientation” but under “accept/deny” that’s not usually there, and when i clicked accept it said i was admitted haha. Still no email or anything yet.
As happy as i am, i’m eagerly waiting on Cal Poly and USC. I’m waitlisted at CPP =/
I’m not local. I go to school in pasadena and i live the same distance from my house to pasadena all the way to my house to fullerton, but in the opposite direction lol.
@mlusikyan yeah the orientation thing is on mine too but it still says no decision has been made! grrrrrrr!! im getting so impatient, I was stupid enough to only apply to CSUF because its close to me and i didnt think id have trouble getting in so im really worried!
Can i ask what your GPA is? They usually have a gpa cut off for out of area students. last year i think it was 3.1
@justwanttoask I think you’ll be fine. You major isn’t impacted right? And as long as you have everything completed you shouldn’t have a problem.
My GPA is 3.35…slacked around with stupid classes in the beginning -__-
omg I thought i was like the only one!! I literally check my portal everyday. I’m a transfer student. not local but my GPA was 3.3 for Psych. They cleared the “To-Do” List and I see the Accept/Denial, Waitlist option, and Orientation. I just called Admissions this afternoon and they told me that they have approved my transcript but that I have to wait to hear back anytime from now to May 15. The wait is killing me ughhhh -___-
@mlusikyan thats not bad at all! Yea i have everything done, including my courses for spring since they were 8 week classes, now im just twirling my thumbs waiting.
@ykimchi i know! The wait is killing me! So when you called they gave you the stats of your app alone? Would i be able to ask them where theyre at with my app?
@justwanttoask Yeah like they looked in their system and told me that I’ve completed everything and now I have to wait and see till then but it just seems like it’s been forever while everyone else got in…I’m glad to know now that I’m not the only one. But yes you should call and see what your status is with your app!
