@pennygirl7 No, I just applied and around January on my to do list it said I needed to send in my 7th semester transcript and I sent it in Feb. The day I sent in my transcript was the same day I got my acceptance letter in my email. I sent it my ACT scores in December but they never notified me anything about it.

So excited! I got accepted into CSUF today with distinction! I need to find out exactly what that means but I’m excited! :O)

ADMISSION WITH DISTINCTION
“Admission with Distinction” is awarded to a freshman or transfer student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in past academic work. For first-time freshmen with no previous college units earned, a grade point average of 3.50 on a four-point scale must be earned in the coursework considered for admission to the university. Students who have completed fewer than 60 transferable semester units of credit must meet the grade point average for first-time freshmen and must also have earned a 3.5 grade point average on all transferable college work attempted. Students who have completed 60 or more transferable semester units are eligible, if a grade point average of 3.5 is earned in all transferable college work completed.
No monetary benefit for being accepted with distinction however you may be invited to apply for the Honors college which has more benefits.
@pennygirl7 was you portal page showing this “Your application is currently pending an admission decision. Please check back for an update on your admission status” than changed today and when did you start seeing this page pending admission how long for?

My son is also waiting on cal poly Pomona which shows “ready for decision”
He was accepted to San Jose state and San Francisco state for business administration same major he applied for at csuf and cpup we are touring campus of San Jose on 4/18 I am or hope a decision will happen locally X_X
@sws1965 I hope it does, waiting on the unknown is so Stressful. We traveled to Oregon and Arizona to visit those campuses, my mom is glad I’m close to home. It’s just far enough away for me and her. nothing, trying to be positive for my son would love Fullerton at this time his B Day is 4-22 wouldn’t that be a present Admission!!

@pennygirl7 Well thanks @pennygirl7 We have a l backup plan in action we have flights 4-15 tour University of Arizona and 4-18 Tour San Jose State I know it’s late in the game but it was tough to get my son to commit to touring the campus’s because he wanted to wait for replies from his top picks. But now that things are not going his way we need to see these locations that he has already been accepted to.
@SWS1965 I would call admissions again and explain to them you hate spending the money to tour other schools… flights, hotels etc. ask them if there is anything else they need for a decision. That’s extra money u can spend admission and housing deposits. Now it’s getting so ridiculous

Someone posted this on a thread this is not encouraging :((
all CSU’s (and UC’s) are supposed to send out accepted/rejected notifications to regular admission students by April 1st. Wait listed students are supposed to be notified after the accept/decline window closes on May 1st.
Most of the schools have already begun sending out the notices, but they might not have finished doing so. There is still hope until they say “No.”
