Major: Sociology
GPA: 2.9 and 3.0 with AA-T bump
AA-T/AS-T: Yes, completed summer 2017
Pre-reqs: done
Golden 4: two A’s and two B’s
Local: Yes for CSUF. No for CSULB, at least I don’t think. Although I attended CC’s in OC and completed most of my classes at Fullerton College, I believe being local is based on the HS you graduated from and I did not graduate from a local high school. Plz correct me if I’m wrong on what makes a person local.
Schools applied to: CSUF and CSULB
@Isawthesine I checked for CSULB and my supplemental app is still being reviewed. As for CSUF, I just received an email confirming they received my transcripts along with my AA-T degree posted and that my record would be updated. Not sure if that gives me a better chance?
@olivia0602 unfortunately I think I am considered out of local for both. For CSUF, local is based on a majority of units being taken at an OC community college. For CSULB, I believe Local is based on graduating high school from their local preference school districts mainly in Long Beach and some surrounding areas. I might be wrong, but that’s what I’ve thought
