@NessiexWx Hi Nessiex, I just figured out how to go into the audit page after asking you Actually, thank you very much for letting me know about this. I have no idea about the audit page before. They put my GPA as 3.38 and Iām still on the waitlist now.
Do you think that I will do not get the decision until I finish my Golden 4 this semester
@pikachu2018 Ok great! I canāt really say what would be the chances of getting in from the waitlist but I have heard of a few transfer students from FC who actually got denied from CSUF because they were being mistakenly reviewed as non-local applicants (itās what Iāve heard so I canāt 100% confirm). Which is why I still suggest that you contact the FC transfer center and see if they can give you some insight. They might be able to contact admissions at CSUF to find out why someone with a more than competitive GPA in the local area was waitlisted. If I were you I would do it as soon as possible as theyāre still sending out acceptance letters to those who didnāt get waitlisted. Hope that helps
@pikachu2018 i was told my counselor a couple semester ago that cal state do like to see their transfer applicant finish their golden 4 before applying. i finish my golden 4 last semester. but i think youāll get in because your name is probably pretty high on the waitlist because u hv a 3.38
So true!!! And how do they NOT get the faxed transcripts sent by the high school over a week ago??? Had to have it redone so now they should have 3-4 copies. And there is no guaranteed housing, you have to āapplyā for it AFTER paying non-refundable enrollment fee, which you canāt do till you are actually notified of acceptance.
I still havenāt heard anything Iām a freshman applicant itās so discouraging I applied for psychology and my friends have already gotten an answer maybe because my major is impacted but still .
@NessiexWx thank you for your advices Nessiex. Iām still waiting until next week to contact with FC transfer as it seems they do not approve schedule appointment during weekend.
Iām still planning to take 1 lower major requirements classes and 1 GE class during this summer. I need to submit my Spring transcript once I finish it and I believe these summer courses will appears as In Progress. But if I get acceptance, and I would not able to take summer classes because of some reasons, will they turn out their decision and I get reject later ?
Could you please advise? I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much, Have a nice weekend
@nset12 Thanks for your response. It makes me think positively now. I still hope. If you do not mind, can I ask if you have finished all GE classes and lower majors requirements to get acceptance for CSU F ?
My D is a freshman applicant. She does not hear anything yet. Itās April!! Her to do list still says send 7th semester transcripts but she sent it out Jan. 22nd. and they āviewed ā on 30th. We called twice and e mailed about it but they said still processing. After the transcript deadline, still on to do list. We called and now they said they did NOT receive her transcript!!! They also told we should have proof of sending before the deadline!! Next day we called again and asked how to send the proofs, and they said no action needed until my D denied! After denial we should appealā¦ ! CSUF admission has a problem! We donāt know whose words are right.
@tatumlarkin18 please read #432. Did you hear anything yet? My Dās to do list still says her 7th semester transcript required even sent it out on Jan.
@mmmama is csuf her first choice? if not she shouldnāt bother appealing. if it is then you should get a hold of the dean or the head of the csuf admission office. csuf seems like its very unreliable. Its April and people are still waiting for their admission decisions including me. schools like csulb, sdsu, uc Irvince, Ucla all released their decisions in March and they had more applicants then Csuf. Shows how serious Csuf is.
Me neither! Nice to know that we are on the same boat. I clicked the āWaitlist optionā on the portal to see if that did anything and it said "General Waitlist: You have been placed on the official waitlist. If you are selected from the waitlist, you will receive an admit letter and information on what required steps are necessary to accept admission.
Nursing FTF Waitlist: The School of Nursing will be selecting the top students from the waitlist. Waitlist ranking is determined by eligibility index (test scores and GPA). The School of Nursing will start selecting students from the waitlist soon after March 27, 2018." but when I click my application status it says no decision has been made. Iām confused why it would say I was placed on the waitlist? Does it say that for you?
@vevee_02 Does that mean we are on the waitlist but they havenāt decided what to do with us yetā¦or is that a standard message for all students and they just want to give us heart attacks. Thinking I might have to call them, itās more than a week into April, donāt think admissions should be taking this long.
@BigBallerBrand35 My 1st D is now freshman at CSUF and this 2nd D want to attend the same school. 2nd D is on waitlist on CSULB. 1st D didnāt have any problems last year and 2nd one has a better GPA and SAT score and applied the same major. I can say that CSUF doesnāt work smoothly this year. I am so sorry that many students are waiting for their answersā¦
