***CSUF FALL 2018 DECISIONS***

@CopperlineX2 I applied to accounting for csuf, CSULB, Cal poly Pomona, CSULA, and SDSU…

@kbutter1234 that is a great list. Within a couple months you are going to have to choose between several excellent programs!

My SAT scores got off the to do list!!!

On my CSUF portal, the option to accept/decline admissions offer shows up at the bottom and where you check admission status. However, I haven’t received an acceptance letter yet and where you view “detailed admissions status” it says that “no admissions decision has been made at this time.” Has this happened to anybody else?

@Theremitt2018 Ohhhh yes that happened to me… I saw it back in November, told my whole family that I had already been accepted, then realized that no decision had been made, and had to revoke my previous statement… What fun 8-} At least it’s funny to look back on!

Did you guys get an invitation to apply to the honors program?

No. Portal shows they are still awaiting 7th semester transcripts (our 7th semester just ended this past Friday.)

Really bummed these local cal state decisions are taking so long. I had hoped my son would give serious thought to attending, but I fear they are going to get lost in the shuffle once the UC decisions start rolling out.

@CopperlineX2: Most of the CSU decisions will be out before March when the UC’s come out and your son has until May 1 to decide on his choice. There is still plenty of time to give the CSU’s the serious consideration they deserve.

I have seen on the Cal Poly Pomona thread that an invite to apply for the honors college and an invite to the Showcase of Excellence are positive indicators that a student will be accepted to CPP (D received both). Is an invite to apply to CSU Fullerton’s honors program also a positive indicator? My D received an email inviting her to apply this past week. Seems like info on CSUF is harder to find though.

My D is applying for Fall 2018 psychology major. Her EI is 4050. (unweighted GPA: 3.78 SAT: 1090). Fortunately, she was accepted at CSU San Marcos last Monday, but we’re still waiting to hear from CPP and CSUF (her #1).

We live in northern California.

@wantingcsuinfo: In past years, Honors college invitees and acceptances were posted simultaneously so getting an invitation for the Honors college looks like a good sign.

Corrections to EI (I was using 3.7 instead of 3.78)

Hey guys! Do you update your fall grades on csu app??? I am a transfer student and I have already completed my supplemental app.

I don’t think you can. All the grades are locked.

@cpre98. If you filled out the supplemental then you should be fine.

Daughter had transcripts including 7th semester sent about 3 weeks ago and it’s off her to do list now. Admissions office is working hard!
