I just called for my daughter. They are at a 3.4 non local cut off right now but that is subject to change. My daughter has a 3.3 and the admission representative said she has a good chance. No guarantees but a good chance. They admit students even after the deposit due date. Don’t give up!
@KTM really? that is such great news! I am hoping I have a chance too since I am almost done with my Prerequsities and I am getting an ADT which will also boost .1 to my GPA.

does anyone know how fast csuf processes the transcript? I sent one beginning of February, not sure if I should send one again because it still is on my to do list. However the request for my winter grades disappeared… so confused!

@seasaltchips my unofficial was processed about exactly 4 weeks later and my official one was 2 weeks later (:
@Christinesoh my unofficial was processed within 3 days and my official is still in process -_-… i hand delivered both of them.
@nset12 oh really? I didn’t get the chance to go in person so I faxed my unofficial and let my CC mail the official one because they mail my first two transcripts for free so it got processed really fast.
I think they are random at organizing everyone’s applications. I saw the previous posts and some students didn’t get their admission decisions until late may… 
Yeah, its been a month and no update… I think I will call them to see.
Why does CSUF make it harder than other CSU’s and UC’s? They want an official transcript without making a decision? I just saw my portal and apparently they wanted an unofficial transcript in person by February? Am I missing something here?
I called and nobody picked up, ended up emailing them. Got an unhelpful reply about how it takes “weeks to process” transcripts. Ok but like that doesn’t tell me anything… it’s been over 3 weeks… if they don’t process by next week I am going in person.

From the Student Center regarding official college transcripts: *If you are currently attending this school, the deadline to submit official transcripts with grades through Fall 2017 is March 16, 2018. If this deadline is not met, your application may be withdrawn.
So at some point past March 16th, we should hear back I’m assuming. Good luck everyone!

What happens if I didn’t submit my unofficial transcripts by the deadline? I submitted them via e-mail last week and received a response from the admissions office. Will I automatically be withdrawn? I just requested an official transcript to sent to the school. Was that a waste of time?
@caliboy718 some schools lose transcripts. it’s definitely lost in my case since it’s been over a month for me. i am going in person to hand in my official; if i wait until the 16th to see if i hear back, i will probably be withdrawn.
Thanks! I processed my official transcript on Jan 29, and I got their offer on Feb 13. However, my Academic Holds which include “GPA and Units Verification” and “Golden 4 Course In Progress” remains on my main portal even though my transcript order was already made. Any advice on that?
