@Christinesoh They rank by EL and major. Couldn’t hurt to accept it. I just don’t know how long we’ll be waiting at the rate fullerton is going !
@chustinio gah so true… they took forever to process everything and send me a decision. It’s understandable that I am not fully accepted yet because I’m not local and there should be more qualified applicants in the local area for my major, Psychology.
I’m just thankful I even got waitlisted since I know how impacted my major is. I hope I do get a spot to feel secured! CSUF is my number one choice for CSU!

@Christinesoh Me as well! I’ve been waiting forever for an update on the portal, glad admissions is finally updating. I am actually a FTF and I applied for Criminal Justice. Here’s to waiting. I wish you luck! And please let me know if you hear something

I just accepted to be put on the waitlist as well…I wonder how long this will take…still trying to stay positive
Just read this off the CSUF website.
“Due to our projected enrollments, we are unable to accommodate all qualified applicants. CSU Fullerton’s enrollment numbers are very limited. As a result, we have established a waitlist for the fall 2018 transfer class. We will determine whether space is available once our admitted students decide to accept their offers of admission. Beginning in early June, if it has been determined we have room in our transfer class we will select students from the waitlist based on GPA.”
My daughter just got waitlisted. Make sure to accept in two weeks or your application will be withdrawn. If they do accept you, you have two weeks to pay the deposit and accept the offer .

I can’t believe we have to wait until June to find out. By then, all other schools I applied to will come out with decisions already. If I choose a different school before I find out, is there a way we can decline our waitlist offer if we already accepted the offer to be waitlisted?
So are they finished with acceptances and moving on to waitlists?

Pretty bummed. I have all As in my psychology courses, but I also major in pre-nursing (which brought my gpa down). Hoping for the best.
@Christinesoh I’m pretfy anxious and stuck a little bit too. I got accepted to CSUSB and their deadline to pay for admission deposit is May 1. They’re orientations are also in the middle of May and beginning of June. They’re mandatory to attend as well. I’m kind of stuck. Just in case it dosent work out with Fullerton I have to have everything on time with my other school choice. It really leaves a lot of stuff up in the air. I really do hope we hear before June. That’s far too late in my opinion. And it’s a maybe.
@Christinesoh you don’t have to undo your waitlist choice. If you pick another school instead of Fullerton you don’t have to do anything extra. If you get an admissions letter and you don’t wish to attend, you just decline or don’t respond. It says on the site I believe you have 2 weeks to decide if not it just gets revoked.

Have any science majors (specifically Biology) heard back from CSUF yet? Fullerton is my first choice and I have yet to hear anything back from them. I turned in my transcripts on time and they have been received, so I know my application is most definitely active. I check my e-mail often everyday and yet, nothing from CSUF. This anticipation is driving me crazy.
