I’m a bit bummed out because my first acceptance letter is from CSUF. I got waitlisted and rejected during my senior year, so seeing the acceptance letter made me happy.
Received this message today, and it won’t even let me accept the waitlisted option I’m not sure why.
CSU Fullerton is an impacted campus. Impaction means that there are more applications for a campus than can be accommodated. Due to the quantity and quality of our applicant pool for the term and limited space in our class, we are limited to offering you a space on our waitlist. If you accept our waitlist offer, you will be placed on the official waitlist.

My daughter got accepted 3 years ago , and got a letter in the mail, after the initial portal acceptance. My Son got accepted for Fall of 2021 in late FEB, but he hasn’t received anything in the mail so far, even though he paid the $250 acceptance deposit back in Feb. Hope that helps

Should I just assume that I’ve been rejected as it’s taken this long for my decision to come out :// Last year they waited until like mid-April to reject me as a Freshman and I was under the assumption that they’d basically forgotten me.
Same. I was thinking about calling because I heard when you call they sometimes check your application and tell you on the spot if you got accepted or not.

Yeah that’s what I did last year and I guess it was already decided but they just forgot to send it like a month out.

They are still sending acceptance letters through the month of March and April. So basically we just have to wait to see if we get in or not.
So I got flat-out denied… I’m baffled.
Both my oldest child and I got waitlisted for CSUF …
He is an English Major with 3.5 GPA accepted into CSULB and Cal Poly Pomona
And I am a Sociology major 3.1 GPA…

I got waitlisted. This is the second time I got waitlisted. And they ended up denying me in early August the last time. I guess I might be going to CSUN.
