Also, scholarship and financial aid is important to me.
Idk if I should apply to CSULB or CSUF?
I want my both academics and social life balanced.
As an Internatipnal applicant , you will receive little to no financial aid and probably no merit aid/ scholarships. Cal states are funded by California taxpayers so aid is given to in- state applicants. If you are looking for FA/merit aid you need to look at California privates. Expect to be full pay at around $36K/year.
california privates?
And if I can manage the full fees which one should I go to? @Gumbymom
You have to look at California privates that offer FA for International students. Not sure which ones will give you FA based on your current stats. If you can afford CSUF or CSULB without aid, either school would be good. CSULB will be closer to the beaches if that is what you are looking for in a school. CSUF is more inland, but the beach is probably 30 min always. CSUF is close to many shops and restaurants downtown along with the Amtrak station. Disneyland and several other entertainment venues are nearby. If possible, it is best to visit.
The CSUs closed their applications on Nov 30th. http://www.csumentor.edu/Filing_Status/Default.asp
How were you planning to attend for the Fall?
A number of the California privates had deadlines on January 15.
I don’t understand your timetable and when you hope to attend. Go to each school website for admission information.
If you haven’t applied you are pretty much only able to apply to schools with rolling deadlines. Azusa Pacfic and Cal Baptist are like this so I would check those out. November 30th was deadline for all Cal States and UCs
