Still waiting here as well.
It seems as though they’re admitting certain majors such as business, computer science, and biology. I just had something pop up in my to do list a few days ago for the first time asking for unofficial and official transcripts to be sent in. I think they are just very slow at admitting transfer students compared to other students. I applied as a Communicative Disorders major with a 3.86 gpa. For those of you waiting to hear back, what are your majors?
I’m an Art-Teaching Concentration major applicant @dev1118
History major here man.
Accounting here.
@yourboysam @dev1118 I’m an accounting major as well
Psychology major
I’m also Psychology but I was admitted 2/7
I got accepted you guys!

Also, for those who haven’t heard from CSUF. Just letting you know that CSUF system has been having conflict. So I really suggested that you call them in to see if your application is okay because my friend had a small issue where they claim that she didn’t finished her math classes, but she did. So she called them in to ask them to check her status for her application and tell them to fix it. At the next day, she got accepted to CSUF right away.
Big suggestion: Check your portal first asap because they updated their portal first then a couple of hours they will send out emails for acceptable notification.
@Bobabee - I’ll call them again on Monday. I called them this past week and the person I talked to mentioned that they will start releasing more the next day but I guess that never happened. Like conflict in what way? I checked my portal and it doesn’t look any different to me.
I spoke to the lady in admissions and records today. I was in campus actually. She told me the next wave will be in April 1st. And there will be random admission decisions from today and then.
@C105213 - So what does that mean for us who have a transcript deadline of 3/15. Do we just let it be and probably let the date go by if we don’t hear anything?
I think I read somewhere that they’ll give you about 2 weeks to submit official transcripts should you get admitted past March 15 @firefox952
@firefox952 I would turn in the official transcripts in person if I were you. Regardless if you don’t have an answer from them. I was there today for that same reason. I turned in my official transcripts today.
I don’t know how they work, but I have observed that several CSUs ask for official transcripts before they even have a decision. Whereas, other CSUs will admit you without any transcripts.
True. CSUSB is the closest university to me and asked for partial official transcripts before they made a decision. If I don’t hear anything from Fullerton this week I’m sending my transcripts anyway. It takes about a week to process them .
@adreezybones - is there any way you could show me proof? It’s not that I don’t believe you, it’s just I want to be sure.
@C105213 - I would but I’m currently in Chico and I won’t be back in SoCal until the 15th. Should I still send it or just wait it out? Yeah it’s weird. Some just ask straight up, some wait, and some ask you for it at the end of the semester.
@firefox952 it should take about 2 weeks if you mailed them. But if you don’t trust the mail process your best bet is have the transcripts now from Chico, and as soon as you get back to SoCal turn them in personally. Idk if you’re driving or flying but make sure you’re here by the 15th. Their admission office is open from 8am-5pm.
You’re gonna be on the go, but you gotta do what you gotta do
@C105213 - I’m flying home this time. I do trust the mail process but it definitely takes a little while for them to send it here (approx 10 business days). I fly home the night of the 14th. Yeah I know. Do what I gotta do. This is why I just want an answer first before wasting that time and money if I don’t get in.
