*Title should say "CSUF", not "CSUL"

How big of a factor does prestige play when, say, getting accepted into the Big 4? Which will be of more importance to my potential future employer: the prestige of UCLA, or majoring in accounting which you can't do at UCLA (minor only)?

I'm not sure I have the credentials to get into UCLA, so if getting into CSUF and completing an accounting major there along with the necessary units to be able to sit in at the CPA exam is just as good, that would be great. But I don't know. If the prestige of UCLA alone is worth it, I might have to reconsider.

Also, if I were to try after UCLA (BizEcon), what would my chances be if I haven't done any extracurricular activities or anything like that. I currently attend a CC and my GPA is also pretty low ATM (2.81), but I feel if I take care of an "F" and "D" I received and get good grades from this point out (I think I probably have three or four semesters left), I might be able to pull that GPA up to a 3.5+. If I chose UCLA, would a 3.5+ plus the completed lower-division courses be enough? If I had to guess, I'd say no, but in all honestly UCLA is my dream college for attending and if UCLA is the better option, then I'd like to know what my chances are and if I could improve them if they're not very good ATM.

Any advice, input, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
