CSULB commuting problems...

Okay so I'm in my senior year and high school and I kinda messed up a lot, but anyways I wanna do community college after high school, but CSULB is REALLLLLY catching my eye, and then my cousin told me it was a commuter school. I want to do physical therapy and they have a program for it and since that's such an easy occupation to get into these days I wont need to go to a top notch school, but I looked it up a lot and its close to the beach which i'd love, running on the beach everyday would just sound like heaven to me, and i like to party sometimes and I also heard it was good for that and the weather down there is great, it all looks so great to me, but the fact that its a commuter school and lots of people already have their friends is kinda scaring me and making me doubt whether i want to go there or not.

What are you talking about? You meet people as a freshman. Dorm your freshman year and you’ll be fine.

My friend is there as a graduate student and enjoyed her four years of dorming there immensely for undergrad.

Go to a CC if you want to go to a UC or one of the Cal Polys.

Me too I wanted to go there just because its by the beach and I want to swim in it but anyways if you do good(I think 1500 or 1600+ on the SAT) you won’t have to worry or if you got a 3.00+ you don’t have to take the SAT! I was thinking of going to community college and transfering there to save money but then id want to go to a UC since most transfers don’t go to CSUs.
