Csulb,csuf,sdsu,ucr,ucsb?

I was wondering what my chances are of getting into these colleges. CSULB,CSUF,SDSU,UCR,UCSB. Any info or tips to help me would be appreciated.

gpa: 3.21
sat: 1480 (taking again in dec.)
ec: tennis (var.) 4 years

i need your inputs so i can decide my future please tell me the chances of getting into these colleges i listed.

Is your SAT out of 1600 or 2400?

UCSB=reach
UCR=low reach
CSULB=low reach
CSUF=low reach
SDSU=low reach

CSU won’t really even take ECs into consideration, basically they only look at grades and SAT.

You should look into some of the other CSUs, especially for some that are not impacted. Maybe CSUSB?

You’re in the 50% average.
UCSB - high reach
UCR - low reach

For UCs, depending on your EC?

CSULB - very low reach or high match
CSUF - match
SDSU - reach (3.8 GPA average, i believe? i’m applying there too.

what does low reach mean? and the sat are out of 2400 but im taking them again

low reach means that you have a chance to get in but it’s still pretty hard.
did you look at their average GPAs and SATs?

a match would be CSUF (Fresno, right?) They have a 3.1 gpa average.l.
CSULB would be a low reach (or high match) because they have a 3.2 gpa but they are also impacted meaning, they can’t take all the applicants. If you live in the LA area, you have a pretty good chance to get in.

oh ok thanks. CSUF was actually Fullerton, i unfortunatly dont live in the LA area but i hope to get into csulb because thats my goal. i checked on other websites to see my chances and it said im in the middle for long beach. would improving SAT scores give me a better chance? but thanks again for the info

oh fullerton. ouch… its also impacted, but i think a little easier than long beach.
Of course SATs would help you a lot if it was a little higher (try to reach at least 1500 to 1600)
I hope you get in the Beach! Good Luck!

thanks… good luck with your apps too.
