Hi, I will be an incoming freshmen next year at CSULB. Im in the pre-nursing program and i was just wondering what a typical schedule for a freshmen would look like. Maybe inform me about the class that get full the most quickest? (since im in a really competitive and impacted major, i want to make sure i enroll in class before they get full!) Ive been toying around the class searches on MyCsulb, its pretty interesting to see what kind of classes are available! Here are some of my AP Credits and what exams i will be taking this year, if thats any help:

AP English Lang-3

Will be taking: Ap English Lit, AP Calc AB, AP Psychology (pretty sure i will get at least a 3 on these exams)

@BonsaiTrees, I’ll be an incoming freshman too, and I’m planning on changing my pre-biology major to pre-nursing. From what I’ve learned, your freshman year will be a combination of your nursing pre-recs (chem 140, biol 207, biol 208, micr 200, and written communication/oral communication/critical thinking GE’s), as well as your regular GE’s. Unfortunately, all of them will get full very quickly. It’s good that you have AP credit- you will receive units for certain classes or elective units, depending on the AP exam (here’s the full list: [CSULB 2012-2013 Catalog - AP Exam Credit Table](<a href=“California State University, Long Beach - Acalog ACMS™”>California State University, Long Beach - Acalog ACMS™)). Typically, students take about 15 units per year, from what I’ve heard. Hope this helps, and see you at CSULB!
