Hey all, I found the way to activate your account(with the help of support) even though you have been conditionally admitted. Support told me to type this site beachid.csulb.edu and you can activate your account and set up security questions
@sydddmac Did it show in the self-service email āwaitlistedā? Mine has been like this for 2 weeks already. Thatās not waitlisted, is it? Thanks
āYour application has been forwarded to the academic department for their review. Every effort will be made to provide you with a timely decision. In the meantime, be sure to check the website of your academic department for departmental deadlines and any additional required documents. Remember to check your email regularly for messages from CSULB regarding admission decisions, any upcoming deadlines, or required documents.ā

To those who got in, are you able to view your financial aid offer?
@SIMYOUNG I havenāt been able to.
I am waitlisted I havenāt sent in my transcript yet because I wanted them to see my winter intercession grades. Should I just send it or would it be better that I also send my winter grades? I got two Aās on my nutrition and biopsych class. When is the deadline to send transcripts for people who are waitlisted.
Anyone taking or took the GPE??
@EricPbr for my self-service e-mail, it would say:
You have been offered a place on our Admission Waitlist. You must submit the documents requested in order for us to confirm that you are eligible to remain on the waitlist. This is significant, as you could still be offered admission should a spot in our class become available and we are able to confirm your eligibility. Please remember that admission is not guaranteed so please continue to pursue a backup plan and check your email regularly for updates on your status.
Your application may still be under review so just hang tight!

If I accept admission at CSULB and still waiting for SLO decision, will I have to go to Long Beach if I click accept?
@RichardBIV
accepting only works if you put the $ down to reserve your spot. If you do so, and do get accepted @ another CSU, you would need to then decline (lose your money) and accept elsewhere
When can we sign up for SOAR?
@Calstates So, I have until June 1st to accept or decline this decision pretty much?
Thanks for your response
Just got my rejection letter, Iām pretty surprised about it. They must be really overwhelmed by the record number of applicants.
Accepted/Denied: Rejected
Instate/OOS- Not local, live in LA and coming from LACC
GPA: 3.95
Major: Film
AA-T/AA: AA on Liberal Arts
Golden 4: I have finished them already with As on all of them.
I believe that this might be a mistake. When I submitted my application they classified me as an International Student, because I was not born in the US. But Iām a legal resident, and I am a California resident (I pay in-state tuition already at LACC). I submitted all my documentation proving that I have been living here for 3 years already, etc. Only yesterday (after almost 2 months since I submitted the documents) at 5pm I received an email from Residence Department saying that they had adjusted my status. And this morning I was rejected.
Iām wondering if the decision was made while my status was still International or after it was corrected? As an international, it makes sense that I was rejected since I would be in the last tier. But as a tier 2 and a 3.95 GPA I canāt understand why. What do you guys think? Should I try to appeal?
FYI- I talked to Representatives @ Long Beach & Fullerton today. In combination, their feedback was consistent
-
We will be notifying into June (both campuses) and have nothing to share whatsoever (translated, they are sick of these calls
-
Neither would share the tiniest bit of context on anything, even though I was @ my cordial best .
-
Fullerton Rep finished with" if your not missing a test score or transcript, no need to call us, we will tell you
whenever we are ready too!" -
If you have 30-40 minutes to kill, call CSULB , the hold music is a blast compared to oral surgery , without the Lollipop of-course
-
Fullerton Rep said Local status doesnāt mean that feedback will be in any order at all, Fun Fun
Accepted/Denied: Waitlisted
Instate/OOS- Not local, live in LA and coming from WLAC as a resident
GPA: 3.32
Major: Math Econ
AA-T/AA: AA-T for business - donāt think it applies

Iām not married to the idea of attending this school but here are my stats. Iāve finished all of IGETC/CSUās general prereqās and both Econ requirements, but I will still have two calculus courses and linear algebra to complete by the time I transfer. Anyway, for anyone who is hoping to get in, you may still have a good shot even without the best stats.
