Thoughts on CSULB vs. CSULA?
For me I would think CSULB hands down (higher ranked, better parking from what I read online, dedicated English Education major rather than general English Lit) but two of my CCC professors suggested I apply to CSULA for networking purposes (my goal is to teach at either the community college or high school level). I am not sure if the professors suggested that because it is the closest CSU to my CCC or if there really are more opportunities at CSULA rather than CSULB due to size or something else?
Really? March? I’ve recently got into contact with the admissions office and they told me that we could submit our transcripts at the end of the semester once they email us the portal login? I consider asking because I am waiting upon other schools I’ve applied to haha.

Major: Computer Science
Cumulative GPA: 3.94
AA-T/AS-T?: Yes
Pre-reqs: I need another physics class
Golden Four: As
Local: San Bernardino
Applied: CSULB, CSUF, CPP, CSUSB
Accepted: CSUF, CSUSB
Conditionally Admitted for CS!!
I am so happy this has been my goal since I started at a CC.
3.5 GPA - Golden 4 Completed + IGETC
Pre Reqs all completed since winter 2021 but I was not able to put calc 2 as “completed” since the class ended a week after the supplemental app was due.
If I were to drop or fail a cs class (not required or recommended) would this impact my conditional admission?
Just noticed I was accepted to CSULB for Biology; Molecular and Cell Biology and Physiology!!! Also accepted into the others I applied to (CSUDH and SFSU) but definitely going to CSULB.
Congratulations y’all who got accepted from a fella that got accepted back in spring 2019 marking this my last semester here at CSULB, but I’m planning on staying for the masters program which is another year.
You guys will love the school, only suggestion is join student organizations on campus early on and you will meet many people that will become your friends
Okay this just worried me! I reported an AP exam on my application (supplemental too) but because my score was archived, it’s not on my transcript yet. I’m waiting for College Board to send my CC my scores. It is extra units I do not need, wondering if it’s not on my transcript if they well take back my offer? I hope not. I’ll have to call.
