Hey, I'm considering CSULB and CPP as my choices of college.
I think CPP is better when it comes to engineering/science,
but I don't like the fact that the school is 40+ miles away from my home, (less than 10 from CSULB) and that I have to live in dorm for my first year.

So I think CPP is better school overall, but does CSULB has good Computer Science and Aerospace engineering program? I'm planning to double major on those and if CSULB is good enough then I'll probably just choose CSULB over CPP.

Thanks for reading!

CSULB seems to have a decent enough Computer Science program, and a pretty good engineering program in general. Not sure about aerospace engineering though. You can try going on the CSULB forum and asking, but it doesn’t have very active threads.

that’s a no brainer. Cal Poly Pomona is a better overall university but also a lot better in the engineering fields than CSULB. I know they ranked 11th in the nation for Masters universities, while CSULB is considerably lower. Someone please find their rank and post it.

The Aerospace Engineering Department at CSU Pomona has a great reputation with employers.
