CSULB PRE-NURSING

I was accepted as a pre-biology major for fall 2017 but I want to switch my major into pre-nursing. Is that allowed? And how does the undergrad nursing program work for incoming freshman?

Students wishing to declare Pre-Nursing

First-year students wishing to declare Pre-Nursing are advised to meet with an advisor in the University Center for Undergraduate Advising (UCUA).
During Freshman orientation, I would meet with an advisor to plan your major change.

thank you @Gumbymom

I’m in the same situation as you. I called the nursing program number listed on the website and they said I would have to wait a semester before switching (because they want to see my first semester grades freshman year). The lady on the phone didn’t really know other than that though, because she said i should talk to admissions.
