CSULB Studio VS CSUF for an animation/illustration major for 2020 transfer student

Hi everyone!! I got some questions about transferring to CSULB or CSUF. Please help me out!!!

I am wondering wether should go to CSULB or CSUF now and I have to decide it before May 1st.
For CSULB, I applied for studio art after I called the advisor at CSULB even though I actually want to major in illustration. She told me that if I went to CSULB, I need to take some courses, then submit the portfolio to apply to transfer major. 1. If it’s true, will it be hard to change major and how long will it take before I can submit portfolio, one semester or one year?
For CSUF, I applied for entertainment/animation major. They do receive me as that major but when I check the portal, it says major at art. I am not sure what it means and I saw some posts in 2018 saying that they required portfolio too after you take one semester. Please help me figure it out because I don’t see it on the admission email that saying like this.

In all, I want to know which university will be better for a student who want to be work as an illustrator and animator.

Please help me!!! I really appreciate your help!!!
