Hello,
I heard back from CSULB and I am waitlisted which really sucks for me because I was really hoping to get in. I'm currently a freshman at a private university in Los Angeles but due to financial reasons I wanted to go back home to Long Beach to be with my family and save money (and also because I am not really liking it at my current school). I applied to CSULB with a 3.48 GPA and as a Political Science major. I should have all of the 4 GE's done and my minimum major requirements done by the end of this Spring semester. I'm also getting a lot of my credits from APs, because I took 7 and passed all of them in high school which is in Long Beach. I just would really like to know what my chances are of getting off the waitlist because CSULB was the only school I applied to :/ I was accepted as a first-time freshman last year but I decided to go to another school which was a mistake. Any ideas of what my chances are?

I am in a similar situation. I’m a cc transfer student and I got waitlisted. I am planning on contacting the admissions office, they should be able to tell you what your chances are.
