Hi I am having a hard time deciding which school to choose. I am hoping to become a physical therapist and I am majoring in Biology with a physiology option at CSULB and kinesiology at SF state. I am curious about which school would give me a better shot at getting into graduate school of course assuming I work hard and stay on top of everything.

Still need help, bump

Alrighty, so I have a completely different major than you, it’s criminal justice, but when I toured SF State, they really didn’t concentrate on talking about the more science-y majors. They didn’t talk about what the odds were of getting into grad school or anything like that.
However, when I toured CSULB, one of the your guides had a major similar to yours, and really loved it at Long Beach. She described what companies the school works with to help the students get internships, which can help with grad school acceptances. She also said that everyone, no matter their major, gets hands-on teaching to help further their knowledge in their field.
I actually am going to attend Long Beach in the fall,
I hope this helped you with your decision good luck on whatever you decide to do!

Thanks you spunkysunset! I am heavily leaning towards CSULB as well and I am just trying to make sure I make the right decision. Also, does anyone know if there is any way to find an estimate of how many Kinesiology students at certain schools make it into PT schools?
