Which colleges are better between CSULB, SJSU, and CSU Pomona?
I’ve been provisionally accepted in this colleges, but I know nothing about Long Beach and Pomona. I currently live in San Jose, CA so I already know what it’s like to live in the city. I don’t really know much about the schools, however, other than the fact they have the major that I want to take.
What’s it like living in Long Beach? Or in Pomona? Is it better to live on campus or off campus??
What are the schools like?
What are some things I should look into consideration??
You really need to take a road trip and spend some time on both SoCal campuses.
I know LB has a big campus run dorm that’s off campus that’s the most popular for freshmen. CPP has added housing since I was last there.
Take an official tours while school is in session, they often include the housing. Spend a half day at each school, eat a meal on campus, talk to existing students about where they live, how they like their major, how hard is it to get classes, my favorite question - what do you like least about this place?
Even though it is local, do the same at SJ.
From there, you should have a pretty good feel for what it would be like to attend each - then follow your heart. All 3 are very good schools - there’s no wrong choice.
