Hello, I’m currently in 11th grade right now. If by the end of the school year, I have a GPA of 2.75-2.80, and a SAT score of 1800, what are my chances of getting into CSUN or CSULA. I live in LA. Also, is it true that CSUs look at 12th grade first semester for your GPA?
It will depend upon your intended major and if you are local to either school.
Calculate your CSU GPA at end of Junior year. Then calculate your EI= (CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + CR). Based on your posted stats, CSULA is probably a Match, CSUN may be more difficult so work on that GPA. You need a minimum EI of 2900 for any CSU campus. Throw in some non-impacted campuses such as East Bay, Channel Islands, Stanislaus, Dominguez Hills, Bakersfield just to make sure.
