Hello Everyone. I'm a new guy here.

I need some direction in terms of my current situation.
I attended community college for 3 years and transferred to Cal State University Northridge as a Biology major. Upon being at Northridge for a semester and exploring the fields of science, I have become obsessed with neuroscience. I'm positive I want to do research in the field.

However, CSUN doesn't have a neuroscience major, it doesn't have many opportunities for this field, and pretty muchhas no courses in the field other than some vaguely related courses in psychology.

For this reason, I want to transfer to UCLA from CSUN as a Neuroscience major, and Psychobiology as my alternative. I am not concerned if this delays my graduation further. I'd rather spend more time in school and do what I love.

I have 2 questions:
1. I do not have have all of the pre-req's done for either neuroscience or psychobiology, I'm missing some higher end math ect. Will UCLA not consider me if this is the case? or is it possible to fulfills these at UCLA prior to upper division course work?
2. How does the process go for transferring from CSUN to UCLA? It it possible or likely?

Any general advice that you think would help me is much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to help a fellow student out.
