Hi, I'm an incoming freshman at CSUN and I'm hoping to transfer to USC.
I've already made up my schedule for this upcoming fall at CSUN & I was wondering if my classes had to match up exactly as the ones stated in the articulation agreement.

Does that matter, or do I just need to complete the minimum of 30 units (I'm hoping to transfer out of CSUN as soon as possible)?

If my classes don't match up to the ones on the articulation agreement, should i change my schedule? Or just try my best to get the classes for the spring semester?

Any information on CSU to USC transfers or the USC articulation agreements would be helpful, thank you!!

Btw, I'm going in as undeclared, I don't know if that information makes a difference

It doesn’t have to match up perfectly, just take transferable college level classes (i.e., basics like English, Math, Biology, a language, etc.).

If you don’t want USC to judge you mostly on your high school record, then definitely go for 30 credits before trying to transfer.

It would be really nice if I get an answer. I’m an incoming freshman at csun and I’m also interested on transferring to USC. I’m going to college with 21 transferable units.
