Hello there. I decided to apply as a Political Science Major, and Business Administration as a back up. I am afraid I won’t be able to get into any of the UC’s. :frowning:
Weighted GPA: 4.27
Unweighted GPA: 3.91
SAT(including writing): 1750
(without writing): 1220
ACT(composite): 29
EC: Key Club Treasurer (11), Key Club Member (9,10,12), Red Cross Member (9,10), School Spirit(Skits/Assassin:9-12), Adventure Club President/Founder (12), Acts of Random Kindness Treasurer (11), Acts of Random Kindness President (12), Embrace Club VP (12), Cosmetology Club Secretary (12), Kpop Club(Danced in Winterfest 9-12), Badminton JV (10-11)

I am interested in applying to: UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, UCLA, SJSU, SDSU, and SFSU.

Any chance to bump up your test scores by December?

I would add UCSC and UCR to your list, if a UC is your top choice.

Hello! I am also looking to apply as a poli sci/business major at the UC’s! Good luck to the both of us :slight_smile: I think UCI, SDSU, SJSU, SFSU are all matches, however UCLA, UCB, and UCSD could be reaches! Nonetheless, I think you have a great shot. Chance me back?

The disparity between your test scores and GPA suggest that your high school has grade inflation. I would retake either the SAT or the ACT by December. A 2100+/31+ would increase your chances a lot.
