CSUSB / CSULA Transfers?

Does anyone know the previous GPA pool for admitted nonlocal CA residents to CSUSB and/or CSULA? I transferred to San Francisco State last spring and after spending a full semester (Spring '18) and a summer session, I realized the school and the major I went into wasn’t for me and decided not to register for classes this school year and went back to my community college so I don’t accumulate anymore upper div. credit that would keep me there.

A little info/stats on my own education if needed.

  • I would be considered nonlocal for CSUSB and CSULA.
  • current GPA combined from my CC + SFSU: 3.02 (but I calculated with taking more classes at my CC and retaking a class at SFSU, I should be able to get my GPA up to a 3.18 to a low 3.2 by the end of Fall 2019 or Spring 2020)
  • I’ve only earned 14 units/credits at SFSU, only 2 of them being upper div. credit, and only 1 being geared towards my admitted major.
  • Golden 4 requirements have been finished since Spring '17 with the following grades of B, B, A, C.
  • all IGETC requirements are finished (except for group 1 of US History, Constitution and American Ideals, but I’ll be fulfilling that either over the summer or fall of '19.)
  • ADT in Comm. Studies finished in Spring '17

Thank you for any help!

Ah! Thank you so much!

I just got accepted to csusb today! I have a 2.7 gpa and applied to an impacted major, so i think you’ll be good!

Congrats on your acceptance, and thank you for the information! Are you local or nonlocal?
