Im currently attending CSUSB as a Psychology major & I really really want to transfer into UCSD fall 2015. I currently have a 3.93 GPA my second year at CSUSB, I have two jobs, Im involved in 2 clubs at school, volunteer in a club for children with autism, very active on campus, and I also attend a community college on the side to get more classes done (I took an english class last semester and taking 10 semester units spring semester) I am really worried about if I will get in. Im trying to go by what UCSD prereqs are but it is hard to know when assist dos not help the CSU students at all. Are prereqs big requirement & how do I know if I even have enough transferable units? I need help!
If your CSULB classes are lower division, then use Assist, to see what the Community College equivalents are. Then, using Assist again, match those CC classes, to classes needed for UCSD.
Did that make sense? If not give me 1 of your CSULB classes, and I’ll try to convert it for you to show you what I mean.
For example CSUSB to UCSD does not show much . I took chem 205 at CSUSB, does it transfer to UCSD?
I didn’t see anything articulated for Chem 205, but I chose a different course to show you what I did.
At CSUSB there’s a course Chem 215. In assist I put in CSUSB, and picked a local CC (San Bernardino CC) to articulate. I chose a Chem major, since it was a Chem course. From here I can see that Chem 215 at CSUSB is the same as Chem 150 at SBCC. Then I used Assist to articulate classes between SBCC and UCSD, again using the Chem major. From there I can see that Chem 150 (CSUSB), is equivalent to Chem 6A at UCSD. From that you can deduce that Chem 215 at CSUSB is equivalent to Chem 6A at UCSD.
