@Peachykeen88 @soleil0801 Congratulations to you both! I’m still waiting. I have a question for you though. Did both of you complete all of your schooling in California? Also, did either of you attend Palomar or Mira Costa?

Thank you!
I’m from San Diego so yes all of my schooling was done here but I attended mesa college so I wasn’t considered local area.

@soleil0801 I appreciate your response. I’m trying to reason why I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m guessing because they might notify local, then non-local, followed by combination non-local and out of state, and lastly out of state transfers. I fit into the combo category. I have credits from the University of Utah from 20 years ago but I’m obtaining my associates from Miramar next month. I’m still holding out hope that I’ll hear sometime this week.

Is anyone else still waiting to hear?

@nmann0405 Im still waiting =/

@LAGal00 it’s good to know I’m not alone. It gives me a little hope! :slight_smile: Hang in there!!

still waiting! it needs to come by tomorrow… this is torture!

Still wsiting also- this is crazy!

I’m still waiting as well. It’s insane. Have any of you received the financial aid award letter. I got an email yesterday with my award letter and I was able to log in and accept the grant and loans offered, but my application status is still in ‘completed application’. Usually award letter don’t go out unless you’ve been admitted. I’m losing hope in the university admission dept.

Same here!!!

@SalPos I didn’t complete my Fafsa application by the March 2nd deadline, although I wish I would have because that at least would have been an indicator of something happening. Based on the comments from others I believe receiving the financial aid award letter is a good sign. Hopefully, you’ll hear soon!

I hope so. It even states on the initial estimate financial aid letter they sent me in early march, that the award letter would be sent out after a decision was made on the admissions side. Who knows though. With the way they’ve been handling this process, it could mean anything.

I’m still waiting too and it’s frustraing. I go to San Diego Mesa and I don’t know if that quality’s as non local or what but also I did wait until the very last minute to send in all my CSU applications so maybe that’s why it’s taking a while? I read in the previous posts too that a lot ya received their financial award but still haven’t heard anything about that either. That I know filled out before March. Can’t help but think i’m missing something here? :confused:

Hello All! I talked to Admissions and they said they will be sending out decisions up until April 30 @ 5 pm.
I’m still waiting for a decision as well. I sent my application in early November and am considered out of area but I go to school in California. I am receiving my AA degree currently and my GPA is 3.87, I applied to major in American Indian Studies. This process has been incredibly frustrating as you all are aware, it seems their application process/decision making is faulty. I’m surprised that SDSU sent their decisions out prior to CSUSM’s decision as it is more impacted. Hopefully we will hear soon but given what Admissions told me about their deadline it could be up until the last minute. Hang in there everyone!

@anxiousaf Mesa is considered out of local area. Mira Costa, Palomar, and Mount San Jacinto are the only ones considered in local area. Their website has this information incase you want to check.

Transfer from Palomar here, still waiting also :confused:

yeah I’m a transfer from Palomar as well.

@obarrett52 thank you for the update.
