Nope, still waiting @gdln012 . I wonder when they’ll let us know. Last year I heard they were taking up until the beginning of May to notify applicants.
@firefox952 I called last week and they said that they will be going all the way up until April 30th
@gdln012 I haven’t found out anything yet either. What are your stats?
@dreamin1 - That’s too long of a wait lol. No way I’m going to wait until then to find out.
Hi all! I was a non-local transfer last year, and I didn’t find out that I was accepted until early May 2018. I found out around 8 pm through the portal which was followed up with an email the next day. I know the wait is tough. Hang in there!
@nmann0405 What day did you have to commit?
I called them and they said that admission decisions are gonna be sent out this week by April 1st. It’s irritating how they don’t have a set date.
Yeah I saw that last year they sent out decision around late April and early May, but I hope they do it by this week D:
My stats:
Compter Science
ADT from Southwestern College
3.1
I got wait listed from SDSU so I’m really hoping I can guarantee my spot at CSUSM, but from what I hear they prioritize those from their local community colleges.
Did anyone else get a financial aid award? Not sure why they give those out first before admissions
@apacheco97 I got one awhile ago but they said it has nothing to do if you will get admitted or not. They just have to give them out regardless.
Anyone hear anything???
i was accepted today for bio im concerned though because it says ive been accepted but also says conditional but its also asking for me to pay the intent to enroll. i did all golden 4 i have to AA but not AsT. Im also worried that i have 2 classes missing do you think i can do it at csusm? or will it affect me being admitted?
anyone hear anything yet?
@irena2000x I got an acceptance email earlier today! I’m a resident. Attended MSJC and MiraCosta College. Major is Arts and Tech.
I’m terrified that I won’t get admitted since I got denied from sdsu lol. Idk what chances non local transfer students have but I’m anxious
I think I’m missing 1 prerequisite but I have a 3.6 and my major is business
@apacheco97 I heard local transfers receive admissions first and then non-local after so I would wait another week or call the admissions office. Best of luck to you!
Has any non-local transfers heard anything?
My portal is still the same and I’m from LA county.
It’s hard to believe that they will be done by April 1st.
Yeah I think so too @dreamin1 . My guess is we’ll probably hear close to May like last year’s thread group did.
