I am considering this program for my 9th grader. I searched the forum, but only found some old discussions. Anyone done this one recently? I have never done the CTY for either child, so not sure what to expect. I called to ask questions and was told there were no tests, for example. I’m trying to figure out the balance of class time, volunteer time, homework, and fun stuff. The subject looks perfect for her. Also, are most kids 10th and 11th graders? I wonder if she will feel socially out of place as a 9th grader? Any comments would be great, thanks!
This may be a tad late, but I have been to CTY in the past! Definitely give it a go if your D or S is interested in the subject! The experience was definitely the best part in my opinion
