Oh no. I am afraid to ask my daughter to look. I donā€™t know if we can take another waitlist this week.

I was waitlisted as well. I thought it was guaranteed. Really really disappointing, as CU Boulder was my dream school. I hope I get in off of the waitlist but I donā€™t want to get my hopes up again.

It was my sonā€™s #1 too. Heā€™s going to choose bt the more competitive Oregon and U of Denver now which is hardly a hardship but heā€™s disappointed for sure. His GPA was below for OOS but 90th %ilĆŖ on ACT. How long do you think it will be until they notify? May?

Curious about this as well. My GPA was slightly lower than average OOS, but with AP and IB classes and a 1510 sat. My dream school. They say no appeals but I wish I could. I didnā€™t even apply to a competitive program, just arts and sciences undecided.

Regarding the waitlist, the silver lining for OOS is that CU Boulder is expensive. We love the college and still hope for the opportunity to get admitted off the waitlist, but my son can save $15K per year at his other choice. $60K total is quite a bit of money.

Applied to College of Media, Communication and Information but I got accepted into the Program of Exploratory Studies. Does anyone know how this program works and if Iā€™ll be able to go to the College of Media eventually?

Daughter accepted. In-state, Linguistics.
Sheā€™s homeschooled, no test scores, a semester-worth of community college courses (dual enrollment).

Waitlisted OOS (Leeds) too. Bummer

Son accepted OOS economics but donā€™t see much aid . Unfortunately, too expensive for us.

I am curious about the merit you receivedā€¦would you mind sharing? At $63K for OOS, we too would struggle without any merit.

We did not get any aid. At least not yet. This means it will probably be beyond our budget too.

Is it a good idea to send a letter of continued interest if we were waitlisted?

I think by putting your name on the waitlist it conveys you are interested. You have to be interested to wait another 2-4 months for a decision :joy:. But, it canā€™t hurt.
