CU Boulder EA Class of 2022!!

Does anyone know why CU changed their admissions process/timeline this year? Is it expected that they will admit a lower percentage of applicants this year?

When do decision for EA come out? All I know is before Feb 1. Does anyone know more specifically?

Some in-state people have been notified I guess, but I think throughout this month or more towards February 1st, I don’t think anyone knows specifically yet

I just wish they would notify us before January 15th. That is the application date for so many other schools. I would love to save the time and money it will take to apply to other schools. If I knew I was accepted to CU I wouldn’t bother applying anywhere else. I am really hoping I hear something this week.

lol I’m checking the portal so much

Me too…at least 3-4x a day.

They did a Q&A on snapchat and said if you applied regular decision they started sending out decisions March 15 and you hear by April 1 so maybe they’ll start sending decisions Jan 15? I hope anyway

Waiting…

doubt anything this weekend or Monday bc of the holiday.

My best guess is decisions wave starting on Tuesday

I know- I was so hopeful for Friday. Yes, hopefully by Tuesday. I know another school is releasing decisions on Monday even though it is MLK Jr. Day, so fingers crossed!!!

What are the chances the decision comes this week?

I would say 75%

I feel like they will definitely start this week!!

@rofiorillo what day are you thinking?

Do they usually start with in-state?? Or could OOS get them tomorrow too if that’s when the wave starts?

The NY admission rep that I emailed with last week told me that my son would hear soon- mid January through 2/1 EA decisions would be released. I just keep checking!! Anyone know what time of day they release? I know some schools update overnight and some at 5PM…

I can only assume that what I was told last week meant the decisions were done and ready to send. So hopefully today for everyone.

Decisions out. I was accepted, 32 ACT, 3.8 UW 4.4 weighted. 6 AP classes, 10+ honors/advanced. NHS member, volunteer tutor, played tennis all 4 years of high school. My dad also went there, so that probably helped a little.

did you get an email telling you to check? Or did you just logon and see the update?

Just got in. Didn’t get an email yet. It just changed in the portal.
