No separate application. They are merit based.

No merit is automatic based on your application. At least the President’s and chancellor’s that you see a lot here.

Congrats to all with merit scholarships. If you read the fine print on the website it says for Chancellors that it’s not automatic, but holistic.

The Chancellor’s is holistic because they don’t just give to everyone based on stats but is awarded based on your application as a whole. Someone may have lower stats but have something else that makes them stand out.

Daughter accepted in Arts & Sciences - International Affairs. 3.9+ UW, 4.5 W, 9 AP and 2 DE. Extra curriculars with religion. Got the $6,250 a year that all are getting.

Colorado is chasing OOS money. Here’s a very interesting article. I’ll tell you - even though the next cost is high, they’re doing a great job. We are in TN - and a ton of kids seem to apply there. Not as many that apply to schools that are close like Alabama and UGA - but you never hear people talk about MIzzou, Kansas, OK, etc. but tons of people do speak about Colorado.

Good luck to all.

Right, exactly.

Is postponed the same as deferred?
