CU Boulder Early Action 2025

CRICKETS here! Anyone else?

Nothing yet.

Nothing. It’s after 5 p.m. now in CO. I’m afraid it’s looking unlikely at this point.

Not looking good for this week

Hi. I saw on Instagram that one girl committed to CU Boulder tonight. Does anyone have an application update? Mine does not have a decision.

Maybe it was an athletic commitment? Also, I recall seeing that last year they rolled it out by department (for example, Arts and Science came out as a batch), so that might be what is going on?

international?

CU acceptances don’t come out by department but do come out by college, so the engineers might know before A&S, who might know before business.

Someone ‘committing’ to CU sure sounds like an athletic commitment, not an academic ‘acceptance.’

My EA applicant was asked to write an additional essay (perhaps for the Honors Program?)and was then invited for a virtual interview. But still no official response.

@machodude Don’t think so. International here and for every other school ours has come out at the same time as domestic students.

When I said “committed,” I meant that she had posted that that was where she was going. Not athletic. Academic. I am not sure for what major, but she decided she was attending last night.

Does anyone think it will be Tuesday?

Maybe she was originally class of 2024 and took a gap year? I joined the CU Boulder Class of 2025 Facebook group and it seems like most (maybe all) have not heard back, yet

Hopefully! :crossed_fingers:t2:

It has to be. Someone on this page called admissions last week and was told either later in the week or early next week.

It’s strange that a university that accepts 80% of the applicants needs more time to look them over.

you have a point but CU’s business school and engineering school are quite good and quite competitive. Also, you have to reject 20% of applicants

So today?

Hopefully! Does anyone know if they send an email or post anything on social media indicating that they have released decisions?
