I just got accepted into CU Boulder Pre-Engineering program and want to know more about how that works and also my intended major is Computer Science so I wanted to know how got is Boulder’s CS program.

info on CU Boulder Pre Engineering students, what they must pass to make it into Engineering College:
Pre-Engineering students enroll in appropriate math and science courses during their first year of study to prepare them for a transfer to engineering. Pre-Engineering students are considered eligible for Intra-University Transfer (IUT) once they have satisfactorily completed two semesters of calculus and two semesters of college-level general chemistry and/or calculus-based physics. Minimum grade and GPA requirements must be met to secure admission to the college. Please visit Navigating the Program for further details.
Most students can complete these requirements in three semesters, while some may do so in as few as two semesters. The maximum length of time in the Pre-Engineering Program for any student is four semesters, at which point the student will either be admitted to engineering or will transition into an arts and sciences major.
Pre-Engineering students are assigned two advisors: one in engineering and one in the Center for First-year Students in arts and sciences. Students work with both advisors to select courses to help with the transfer to engineering and/or the pursuit of an arts and sciences major.
Pre-Engineering students also enroll in the Introduction to Engineering course for their first semester to learn about the 13 undergraduate majors offered and the wide range of careers associated with those majors. In subsequent semesters, as space permits, students may be able to enroll in additional engineering courses such as an introductory computing course or a first-year engineering projects to further explore the world of engineering.
