Son still waiting. We are OOS and applied to College of Arts and Sciences. Have not seen any posts of anyone from the CAS getting notifications, so they might be a little behind the other colleges. Hoping to hear soon!

My son got into the school of engineering. However, he didn’t get offered any scholarship. He will be OOS. What does it take to get merit scholarship for OOS candidates?

CU Boulder. The Presidential scholarship is available to out-of-state students who are in the top 1-3% of the
admitted nonresident class at CU Boulder. The monies are higher for OOS.

This is what In-state looks like, as a Guide:

Award High School Weighted GPA Test Scores
Amount
President Joseph A. Sewall Award 4.0+
33 ACT or 1480 SAT
$20,000 total
($5,000 per year)

President Horace M. Hale Award 4.0+
31 ACT or 1410 SAT
$14,000 total
($3,500 per year)

President James H. Baker Award 3.9 - 3.99
28 ACT or 1310 SAT
$10,000 total
($2,500 per year)

President James H. Baker Award 3.8 - 3.89
30 ACT or 1370 SAT
$10,000 total
($2,500 per year)

OOS College of Arts and Science, portal updated on 3/4, Presidential Scholarship.

@madplaid Thanks for posting. Apparently the College of Arts and Sciences is active in sending some notifications too. I will let my son know he should hear VERY soon.

I reached out to admissions earlier this week and they plan to roll out decisions through the month of March so I’m expecting several weeks worst case scenario!

Has anyone received any notifications today? It seems like there was a small batch of notifications last Friday, but not much after that.

Does anyone know when CAS decisions will come out?

Nothing here! Maybe they wait to hear back from the first round to see if anyone declines? I was told April 1 maybe sooner!!

My son received an email around 7:00 Central last Friday telling him to check his account. On 1/1, applied engineering and got pre-engineering and Chancellor’s scholarship. Crazy he got scholarship but not full-fledged engineering.
