CU Engineering Question

Hey guys,

I'm applying to Cornell and I recently got an email saying they're missing my science SAT subject test. Problem is I never took a science SAT II. I only recently discovered it was a requirement for the Engineering School.

Do you guys have any advice? Or perhaps a similar problem?

I know I meet the requirements for the Arts and Sciences School, but is it too late to switch?
I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks!

i think you might wanna speak with the school and explain ur situation. maybe if ur rly strong in everything else, they’ll overlook the science? maybe a science ap score? but sorry, im not sure.
did u put arts and science as ur second choice? but it also requires an essay…
good luck!

Bluntly put, I think you might be screwed. I would just talk to the admissions, but I think this was sort of your responsibility to know you needed to take w/e tests you needed.

Friend had the same problem and he tried switching his college, but the under grad office wouldn’t let him. Luckily he took the ACTs which made up for it

does taking the ACT make up for not taking the SAT Sci II test?

Yes, if you take the ACT you do not need to take SAT subject tests.

hmm, that is contrary to the OP’s stmt that subj tests are req’d for engineering.
