Does anyone know the size of the cubbies that are part of the closet in the renovated rooms in Witte?
I was just looking at that Lofting Guide pdf for the renovated rooms at Witte and wondered the same thing about those cubbies. Would be great to know the dimensions! I’m going to email housing at info@housing.wisc.edu. I’ll let you know what I hear.
Unfortunately, they weren’t very much help.
They reply I received stated “we do not have those measurements on file. I would recommend taking those measurements the day of move in if you would like to put storage cubes or anything there, and buying those materials after move in at the nearby Target or Bed, Bath, and Beyond.”
I’ve heard those stores are a nightmare on move-in day.
Wait a week and reconsider your desire for putting cubes in cubes. You may decide adding wire shelves such as found in kitchen storage will help you separate your piles of stuff.
