<p>I am new to college confidential and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my chances are of getting into a college preparatory school in Indiana. Here goes nothing. I am currently in 7th grade. Last year, I got 4.0's all year. I was singled out and given an award by the town for this accomplishment. I am in accelerated classes, and was given the opportunity to take the EXPLORE for a program called NUMATS. I excelled on this test and this year will take the SAT and/or ACT for the same program. They offered classes for high school credit, but I couldn't afford it. Anyway, I play soccer and am very good if I say so myself. I am also good at writing and have been promised a spot on the school newspaper. Drama is interesting to me, so I have been in multiple plays. I am also in an advanced band and am very good at the clarinet, bass clarinet, and saxophone. I do not know when or where I will be able to take the SSAT, but I hope to maybe next year. This year, 7th grade, I received 1 A- in math, but am currently working on fixing that. My teachers all love me, so I am sure that I can get a letter of recommendation if needed. Please remember, this is not to brag about academic success, this is to see if I have what it takes to get into and flourish at Culver Girls Academy. Thank you!</p>
