Cum Laude

<p>Is cum laude a big deal? For my school they initiate top 10% in the fall term and 10% more in the spring, so placing cum laude is not that exceptional to more prestigious schools (e.g. Ivies, Stanford, MIT, Chicago). </p>

<p>Should I include it in my applications?</p>

<p>Definitely.</p>

<p>Why? Because every school is different and it means something. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from High School and all that meant was I had above a 3.8 weighted GPA.</p>
