Cumulative GPA and Grad School

So I am a rising fourth year at UC Berkeley. I had a 3.9 out of community college and messed up hard my first semester at Berkeley (2.45). I was able to do well this past semester and got a 3.6, putting me at around a 3.0 for UVa and a 3.6 combined with community college. My goal is to get my Master’s degree at UC Berkeley, UCLA, or USC. Generally for Master’s in Psychology or Philosophy, do you guys know what GPA is needed? Also, will that one semester of doing poorly be understood since it was my first semester at Berkeley? Do you know of any links that says what successful applicants have to get into Master’s programs at some of those schools? Lastly, will my Berkeley GPA be more important than my cumulative GPA? Thanks!

I’m also a transfer, I’m finishing up at Cal this fall (I’m a Spring '16 admit). My situation is similar in that I’m a transfer and my GPA fell a bit when I arrived. Congrats, and good luck in your final year!
