I also applied as a domestic transfer student to Queens College. I’ve been calling the hotline for the last 2 weeks and it just says that Queens College made a decision. Are they going to email us or send us a letter? I am dying to find out. The suspense is killing me!! I have been checking my email since midnight and nothing.
For all those who applied at Hunter. Here is the email i got
"Thank you for contacting the Welcome Center. Please be advised, decisions have not been sent out for the Spring 2016 semester. Please make sure to check your portal, and e-mail that you provided on your application for an admissions decision.
@ammarshah Did you apply anywhere else? Have you gotten any responses yet?
@sluffle I applied at Hunter, Brooklyn, Lehman, City Tech and York but haven’t got any reply from them my first choice is city tech if anyone knows when they will send out admission decision then do let me know

i am currently enrolled in Bronx Community College, and applied to Brooklyn College and City College.
both film programs.
I’VE BEEN CHECKING MY E-MAIL AND MAILBOX LIKE A MADWOMAN!!
i also check the site frequently, and it says what is has always been saying: “we have received your app. under review. 8-10 weeks.” blah blah blah. I applied June 20th, 2015.
i called in and Brooklyn College says they are still receiving apps. City College just told me to check the CUNY site. 
i’m just playing the waiting game!!
@tuesdaynirv it’s not suppose to show under review 8-10 weeks. It suppose to have shown you application completed july ending since you applied june 20th. Call cuny again and tell them you wanna complain concerning your application
what do i say exactly, though? this has always happened to me regarding my application process; even when i got rejected to my transfer schools two semesters ago, the site always only said that my application was complete and under review.
i’ve always hated CUNY for this lack of information!! :((
i am on the phone with CUNY now, on hold. i will continue to update ya’ll! lol since this thread is what specifically prompted me to create an account here.
try to be patient everyone. we can start complaining (or complain more!) if we don’t hear anything by the end of this week.
When I spoke to Brooklyn on monday Oct 19 they said they were currently reviewing applications from May transfer applicants. As I applied in September she said I may not be contacted for several more weeks
Hi, all!
So I was informed by CUNY that I’ve been rejected from both my choices.
The GPA from my previous school, City Tech, weighed in to my current GPA and brought my 3.1 down to a 2.0…
Frankly, I’m a bit discouraged, but there is nothing for me to do other than to work harder and try again sometime in the future.
Sadly, this is cutting into my plans to graduate within the next two years, but whatever! I’ll get there soon!
Congrats on everyone’s acceptances, and good luck to those who have yet to hear from their schools!

I called at CUNY yesterday they said that since you applied on 6th of august and your application was completed on 17th of september so you have to wait for 3 to 4 weeks for the college decision… Damn it’s so tough to wait for the decision hope i get admitted to CITY Tech 1st as it is my 1st choice
well this is disturbing as im an international student i need an acceptance letter as soon as possible because i need to apply for visa i applied in bmcc and baruch and bmcc told me i might receive the decision in mid october and still no reply
Anyone here who applied to bmcc?
Yesterday, I received an email from BMCC for the acceptance, and then I received a letter form CUNY about BMCC as well. I am still waiting for the results from Hunter, Baruch and City. I also spoke to my CUNY adviser today, and she said for other applications are still in process, so I still have a chance to get in one of them. She told me to wait another 2~3 weeks for my final result.
