Same, got accepted into Brooklyn today but still waiting for Hunter, City, and Queens!
Nothing heard from Baruch still!!!
:(((
Hey everyone I applied as a transfer student to Baruch as my first choice and Brooklyn college as my second. The hotline says Baruch but still no email. Did anyone who applied to Baruch get an email yet?
@jaycom18 Hey did you get an email from Baruch yet?
Hoping we hear back from Baruch by the end of Spring Break [-O<
I haven’t got anything from Hunter but I’m wondering if I’m supposed to get an email for a “VIP Tour”. People on the message board were talking about some VIP tour where they get a backpack at this tour with their acceptance letter
@saida996 Me too I’m so impatient I want to know now
@CunyOD Baruch is in the Spring Recess -_-
@CunyOD nope, 2 counselors told me I should hear back this week though. It’s spring break but they’re still in the students are the ones who get off.
My hotline said within 2 weeks for a month smh
@cashwizard11 I know hopefully that makes them have more time to send out acceptances lol
@jaycom18 I just got off the phone with an admission counselor she told me that even if Cuny portal/ the hotline says they made a decision they really have not. She said when they do that it means that your application was sent and they are going to review it to make sure your a fit for them
@jaycom18 I was also told I would hear back in one week or by next Friday. I applied Feb 1st.
@CunyOD they usually say a different thing every time I call they stink
Cuny has a very high acceptance rate, if you don’t qualify they’ll make take courses to make up for your lack of math/writing or whatever.
City Tech however…very hard to get into.
@jaycom18 Wow that really stinks. I just wanna know already
@jaycom18 hahahahaha I laughed so hard!
@CunyOD When I called the admission, they told me that they already made the decision I applied on 23 January.
Seems like every counselor says different thing
@Physicist2018 It depends on which CUNY you apply for not all have high acceptance rates. And I am currently in my last semester at city tech and it’s pretty easy to get in actually.
