<p>Hi, the CUNY website was very vague on personal statement essays. I sent my application in to Hunter, Brooklyn, Baruch, Queens, CCNY, and BMCC without an essay. I have one written but I haven't edited it. With an SAT score of 1690 and a GPA in the 81-85 range, I think my grades look on the low side of the accepted but still in range. My top school is Hunter. My question is how much does CUNY care about the essay? Are my chances diminished if I do not send one or will it not matter?</p>
