Hi, I recently called the CUNY hotline to check my status, I was told i was ADmitted to Queensboro Community college. I never applied to qcc, I only applied to Baruch. does this mean I was rejected to Baruch? If so, how high is Baruch's Transfer standards this year? my friend last semester transferred into baruch from my same school with a cumulative 3.04 GPA ( st. john's university ). My Cumulative GPA is a 3.4 and since I internally transferred to my schools business program I have a 3.74 GPA in Tobin School of Business. From what I understand, CUNY only checks the GPA, since there is no forms for Teacher Rec's, Personal Essays or anything else. can anyone give me some advice on how I can appeal? Thanks very much.

yx1120,
You should call the school admissions office and speak with a transfer counselor to find out what is going on. If you say you didn’t apply to QCC, there should be no reason why the message said that. Call and see what’s up.
Good luck!

LOL. The CUNY system is pretty messes up. It’s almost certainly a mistake. Call and ask!
