...?

So please? Please please? Hunter Honors is my first choice. I totally need advice! Thanks.

hmm, ur grades are pretty good, as far as i know Cuny Honors require like 1350/1600, and its pretty competitive. So a lot of kids who even apply to the best schools have cuny honors on their list, especially in NY. Good luck

Thanks for the info! Any other advice/chances...?
My recs will be really good/excellent...and I can write good/decent essays.

wow..are you serious?

kids with B averages and like...1800 SATS from our school have a 75% chance of being accepted CUNY hunter honors

then again, we ARE affiliated with the college itself

Yes - you kids are the lucky ones! Outside, the Honors College is extremely competitive and I think I'm definitely on the lower side of the application pool.
Please please - help help.
And they still didn't release the application online...=/

well it depends on a lot of things, i mean if your school is affiliated i would assume you have a slight advantage. But ikalasapudi i would say ur chances are pretty good, if your really interested see if you can apply early, maybe that would give u a boost

Thanks! I am applying early - but it's getting to be really really competitive. That's the thing. If I were to be maybe three or four years older, yeah maybe...But nowadays...
Anyone else? If not, I'm deleting the thread...what if someone from the Honors College sees this? Is that bad? (I'm thinking so).

No, I think that it is all right if someone from Hunter admissions sees this. There is nothing wrong with doing college admissions research. But in general, it is smarter to not use your real name on internet.

Yeah...wasn't too smart with the name thing.
Anyway.
Any one else for my chances? I feel like people said I have really good shot especially because I'm doing ED...but I still feel unsure...
...
Chance me please?
Chancez-moi s'il vous plait?

With your current SATs being pretty much 700 across the board, consistent SATIIs, being ED, and being a male applying to heavily female school, I would say that yes, you will make it. What is your weighted GPA? I assume that the 3.5 is unweighted.

Yes - that GPA is unweighted. My school doesn't weight GPAs =/. I'm not too sure...The 3.5's a rough estimate. It might even be 3.6 if I'm lucky.
But is the Macaulay college heavily female? Thank you so much! People have been saying that I have a good/decent chance but still. So unsure.

Bump - some more stats:
AP Scholar
GPA: 3.66/91.5 UW

Bump? Please?
